Pavilion Update and round one!

It’s been a bit of time between updates on the pavilion but the last few months a fair bit has happened and it’s now 90% finished for round one today!

Countless volunteer hours have gone into it even from generous locals who aren’t even involved with the club but offered to help out.

The official opening is going to be held on October the 28th, round 4. So keep that date free with more details to come.

Today the 2017/18 season kicks off with A grade at home against West Bairnsdale captained by our South African import Stephan Grobler taking over from Rohan Blandford. Joining him are a few new and old faces with Adam Cairns from Bundalaguah joining the tussocks and Reagan Kyle’s back to take the gloves and so is Daniel Richardson.
15 yr old Reuben O’Brien is also playing his 2nd A grade game after getting the chance Last Home and away game last season.

B grade are away at West Bairnsdale today and are being led by new captain Brent Henderson taking over from Rick Williams. His very enthusiastic about the coming season and we hope he can have a very successful season.

We wish all sides the very best as the weathers perfect for Cricket today and let’s have 2 wins!

CARN TUSSOCKS!
