It’s Thursday again, and what a week it’s been!

Last weekend was all about the rain – WET WET WET – with only the U13s managing a full game while the U16s were washed out halfway through.

The U13 Div 1 team put on a dominant display, scoring 8/126 and defeating Lucknow, who finished on 8/77. A fantastic win for the young Tussocks!

Meanwhile, the U13 Div 2 side fought hard in a close contest, posting 5/76 while chasing Bruthen’s 0/80. A narrow loss, but plenty of positives to take forward.

On Wednesday night, our women’s team continued their incredible run with another strong win over Paynesville on their home turf. Batting first, Meerlieu made 4/102, thanks to Beckie Stevens (30), Lucy Simpson (24), and Leah Simpson (23) – all retired not out. In reply, Paynesville was bowled out for 10/95, with Beckie Stevens (2/11), Olive Evans (2/14), and Adele (2/10) leading the attack. The girls remain undefeated and comfortably on top of the ladder – well ladies team!

Tonight, training kicks off at 5:30 PM, and Cindy has everyone’s favorite on the menu – Chicken Schnitzel with gravy, broccoli & cauliflower bake, fresh salads, and spicy coleslaw. It’s going to be an absolute feast! 🍽
