It’s finals time! 🔥 Our C Grade side has finished the season in 3rd place and now heads into a massive Semi Final this Saturday at 1pm, taking on Wy Yung at the Wy Yung Synthetic 🏏. Let’s get around Fletch and the boys as they fight for a spot in the big dance! 💛💙

Last week our U13s Div one side were crowned premiers after beating St Marys/Nagle in a close finishing game and finishing the year undefeated.

St Mary’s won the toss and chose to bowl, but our team was switched on from ball one. We burst out of the gates to be 3/64 after 11 overs, eventually finishing on a strong 7/114 from our 22 overs.

Batting Highlights:
Harry and Howard opened confidently, absorbing early pressure. Harry top‑scored with a crafty 19 retired, capitalising brilliantly on multiple overthrows to run 5.
Lucy (ret 15) anchored the innings with composure, keeping the scoreboard moving and supporting partners at the crease.
Miller (9) and Sam (13) lifted the energy with some attacking stroke play, each cracking well‑timed boundaries.
With a competitive total on the board, our bowlers went to work.

Bowling & Fielding Highlights:
Opening pair Howard and Harry applied early pressure, with Harry claiming a crucial wicket in his second over. St Mary’s were held to 1/49 after 11 overs.
Lucy and Darby each took brilliant caught‑and‑bowled wickets, showcasing sharp reflexes under pressure.
Darby and Howard finished strongly, both picking up clean‑bowled wickets late in the innings.
Our fielding was focused, disciplined and energetic, restricting scoring options and producing key runouts from Tom and Sam, plus several near misses.
St Mary’s fought hard and reached 6/92 after 20 overs, needing 23 from the final two overs - but our team held their nerve. With cool heads and smart, disciplined cricket, Meerlieu closed out the match, restricting St Mary’s to 6/98, sealing a 16‑run Grand Final victory.
Lucy was awarded player of the Match.

It was an outstanding season for the U13s Div 1 — undefeated premiers and a group that represented the club with effort, pride and teamwork all year long 🥇.
